These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to bookings, quotations, travel arrangements and other services purchased, requested or arranged through www.mydreamtravel.ca, our office, telephone, email, WhatsApp, social media or any other communication channel operated by My Dream Travel.

By requesting a quotation, making a payment, confirming a booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

My Dream Travel provides and/or arranges travel-related services, including airline tickets, holiday packages and certain travel-document assistance services.

2. Role of My Dream Travel

My Dream Travel acts as a travel agency and intermediary between customers and independent travel suppliers, which may include airlines, hotels, tour operators, wholesalers, transportation companies, insurance companies and other travel-service providers.

Travel services supplied by third parties are subject to the individual supplier's own terms, conditions, tariffs, policies and restrictions.

By confirming a booking, you also agree to the applicable terms and conditions of the suppliers involved in your travel arrangements.

3. Prices and Availability

All prices and availability are subject to change until the booking has been confirmed and, where applicable, the ticket has been issued.

Airfares and other travel prices can change without notice.

A quotation does not guarantee a fare, seat, hotel room, package or other travel service unless the booking has been confirmed according to the applicable supplier's requirements.

Prices may be displayed or quoted in Canadian dollars or another currency. Customers are responsible for confirming the currency before making payment.

4. Pricing and Typographical Errors

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate prices and information. However, errors may occasionally occur.

My Dream Travel reserves the right to correct genuine typographical, technical, system or pricing errors, subject to applicable law and regulatory requirements.

Where an obvious pricing or system error occurs before a booking is finalized, we may provide the corrected price and allow the customer to decide whether to proceed.

5. Booking Confirmation

Customers are responsible for reviewing all booking details immediately upon receiving a quotation, invoice, itinerary or confirmation.

This includes:

  • Passenger names
  • Spelling
  • Dates of birth, where applicable
  • Travel dates
  • Departure and arrival cities
  • Airports
  • Flight numbers
  • Baggage allowance
  • Connection information
  • Hotel information
  • Other relevant travel details

Any errors or discrepancies should be reported to My Dream Travel immediately.

6. Passenger Names

Passenger names must match the travel document being used for the trip, including the passenger's passport where applicable.

Airlines may charge fees or refuse name changes or corrections after a ticket has been issued.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate passenger information before ticket issuance.

Any cost resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer may be the customer's responsibility.

7. Payments

Bookings may require full or partial payment within a specified period.

A reservation is not necessarily confirmed simply because a customer has requested a booking or submitted information.

Payment deadlines may be imposed by airlines, tour operators or other suppliers.

Failure to make the required payment within the specified period may result in cancellation or a change in price or availability.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rules vary significantly depending on the airline, fare type, hotel, tour operator, package or other supplier.

Some bookings may be:

  • Non-refundable
  • Non-changeable
  • Partially refundable
  • Subject to cancellation penalties
  • Subject to supplier administrative charges
  • Eligible only for a travel credit

Before confirming a booking, customers should review the applicable cancellation and refund conditions.

Any refund is subject to the applicable supplier's rules and approval.

Where a supplier is responsible for processing a refund, My Dream Travel cannot guarantee the supplier's processing time.

9. Changes to Bookings

Changes requested after a booking is confirmed may be subject to:

  • Fare differences
  • Airline or supplier change fees
  • Rebooking fees
  • Agency service fees, where disclosed and applicable
  • Taxes or other charges

Some tickets and bookings do not permit changes.

Availability and pricing for a changed booking cannot be guaranteed until the change has been confirmed.

10. Airline Schedule Changes and Cancellations

Airlines may change flight schedules, aircraft, routes, departure times, arrival times or connection details after a ticket has been issued.

Flights may also be delayed or cancelled due to weather, operational issues, governmental restrictions, safety concerns or other circumstances.

Where an airline changes or cancels a flight, the options available to the passenger are generally governed by the airline's policies and applicable law.

My Dream Travel will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with available options but does not control airline operations or decisions.

11. Missed Flights and No-Shows

Customers are responsible for arriving at the airport with sufficient time to complete check-in, baggage drop, security, immigration and boarding requirements.

Failure to check in or board a scheduled flight may result in the passenger being classified as a no-show.

Depending on the airline's rules, a no-show may result in cancellation of subsequent or return flights on the same ticket.

Additional costs associated with missed flights may be the passenger's responsibility unless otherwise required by applicable law or the responsible supplier.

12. Connecting Flights

Customers are responsible for reviewing their itinerary and ensuring they understand connection requirements.

Depending on the itinerary, passengers may be required to:

  • Change terminals
  • Re-check baggage
  • Clear customs or immigration
  • Obtain a transit visa
  • Change airports
  • Complete additional security screening

Connection requirements vary by country, airport, airline and itinerary.

13. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements

It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure they possess all documents required for their trip.

These may include:

  • A valid passport
  • Visa or e-Visa
  • Transit visa
  • OCI documentation
  • Permanent resident documentation
  • Entry permits
  • Health or vaccination documentation where legally required
  • Parental authorization for minors
  • Other documents required by the destination or transit country

Passport validity requirements vary by destination, and some countries may require a passport to remain valid for a specified period beyond the travel dates.

Government entry requirements can change without notice.

Customers should verify requirements with the appropriate government, embassy, consulate or other official authority before travel.

14. Visa, OCI, Passport and Document Assistance

Where My Dream Travel provides assistance with visa, OCI, passport renewal or other travel-document services, our role may be limited to assisting with the administrative process based on information supplied by the customer.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, My Dream Travel does not guarantee:

  • Approval of an application
  • Processing times
  • Appointment availability
  • Acceptance by a government authority
  • Entry into any country

Final decisions regarding visas, passports, OCI documents and entry permission are made by the applicable governmental or authorized authority.

Customers remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information and documents they provide.

15. Denied Entry

Immigration, customs and border authorities have final authority regarding admission into their respective countries.

Possession of an airline ticket, visa or other travel document does not guarantee admission.

My Dream Travel is not responsible for a traveller being denied entry or boarding due to insufficient, incorrect or invalid documentation, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

16. Baggage

Baggage allowances, fees, restrictions and policies are determined by the applicable airline.

Customers should verify their baggage allowance before travelling.

Additional, overweight or oversized baggage may result in charges imposed directly by the airline.

Special baggage such as sporting equipment, musical instruments or oversized items may require advance arrangements.

17. Seat Selection and Special Requests

Seat assignments, meals, wheelchair assistance, bassinets and other special requests are subject to airline or supplier availability and approval.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that it will be fulfilled.

Where a particular service is important to your travel, you should confirm it directly with the applicable supplier before departure.

18. Hotels, Tours and Vacation Packages

Hotel, resort, tour and vacation-package bookings are subject to the applicable supplier's terms and conditions.

Hotel classifications, photographs, descriptions and amenities may be supplied by third parties and may change.

Check-in requirements, deposits, resort fees, local taxes and other charges may apply depending on the property and destination.

19. Travel Insurance

Unexpected events may cause trip cancellations, medical expenses, interruptions, baggage losses or other financial losses.

Customers should consider appropriate travel insurance based on their circumstances and destination.

Insurance policies contain exclusions, limitations and eligibility requirements. Customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms of any insurance coverage purchased.

20. Third-Party Travel Suppliers

My Dream Travel does not own or operate airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators or most other travel suppliers whose services may form part of a booking.

Those suppliers are responsible for providing their respective services.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, My Dream Travel is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations or service failures of independent suppliers that are outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Events Outside Our Control

Travel may be affected by circumstances outside the reasonable control of My Dream Travel, including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, airport closures, government actions, border restrictions, civil disturbances, public-health emergencies, security events, supplier failures or other extraordinary circumstances.

Available remedies will depend on applicable law and the terms of the travel supplier involved.

22. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an error with a transaction or service, please contact My Dream Travel promptly so that we can investigate the issue.

Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically cancel the contractual obligations associated with a valid booking or supplier charge.

We may provide booking confirmations, communications, invoices, ticketing records, authorization information and other relevant documentation to financial institutions or payment processors when responding to a payment dispute, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Nothing in this section limits a customer's legitimate rights to dispute an unauthorized, incorrect or otherwise legally disputable transaction.

23. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and reviewing their travel arrangements.

Before departure, travellers should reconfirm important information, including:

  • Flight schedules
  • Airport and terminal information
  • Passport validity
  • Visa and transit requirements
  • Baggage allowances
  • Check-in requirements
  • Destination entry requirements

24. Website Use

The information on our website is provided for general informational and travel-booking purposes.

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent information or use the website for unlawful purposes.

25. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, My Dream Travel's branding, logos, original website content, graphics and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to My Dream Travel.

They may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without authorization, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, airline names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

26. Privacy

Personal information collected through our website and services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

Travel bookings may require personal information to be provided to airlines, hotels, government authorities and other suppliers in Canada or internationally.

Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Dream Travel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of independent travel suppliers.

Any limitation or exclusion contained in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or restrict rights that a consumer cannot legally waive.

28. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Ontario and Canadian law, subject to any statutory rights available to the customer.

29. Changes to These Terms

My Dream Travel may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices, supplier requirements or applicable laws.

The latest version will be posted on our website with the applicable “Last Updated” date.

The Terms applicable to a particular transaction may also include conditions disclosed to the customer at the time of booking.
